AZ PRESERVER

HOME / Business Fields / Life science business field / AZ PRESERVER

AZ PRESERVER is a preservation solution that enables 4 °C storage of mammalian cells and organoids.
It can be used simply by replacing the culture medium, allowing preservation without the need for freezing while minimizing cellular damage.

Feature

  • Reduces various stresses during refrigerated storage and provides high preservation performance.
  • Easy to useーsimply replace the culture medium of cells and organoids.
  • This product does not contain serum or protein components.
  • Sterility testing has confirmed the absence of bacterial and fungal contamination.

4 °C Preservation Study of Human Adipose-Derived MSCs

Human adipose-derived MSCs were seeded onto culture plates and preserved at 4 °C using various preservation solutions at approximately 50% confluency. As a result, **AZ PRESERVER/+** maintained cell viability over a longer period compared to commercially available preservation solutions (Solution A and Solution B) and UW solution (left figure). Furthermore, even when preserved as a single-cell suspension, high viability was confirmed after re-seeding (right figure).

4 °C Preservation Study of Human iPS Cell-Derived Cardiomyocytes

Human iPS cell-derived cardiomyocytes were cultured for 4 days and subsequently stored at 4 °C using various preservation solutions. While cell viability decreased after day 3 in commercially available preservation solutions (Solution A and Solution B) and UW solution, **AZ PRESERVER+** enabled preservation for more than 8 days. Following re-culture, the cardiomyocytes maintained normal beating activity.

Proven Performance in Other Cell Types

Examples of Use

  • Short-term storage and transportation of cells and organoids that are difficult to cryopreserve.
  • Refrigerated storage of cell sheets.
  • Transportation and temporary storage of cell-based products in regenerative medicine research.
